The national platform for urban policy and planning (CIPU) functions as information platform with the aim to increase awareness on spatial planning in Luxembourg on an international level.

A new CIPU project sheet has been published! With ever-increasing pressure on the office housing market in the City of Luxembourg, several mixed-use buildings are being developed on the Kirchberg district. Faced with growing urban challenges, Fonds Kirchberg, the institution in charge for developing the Kirchberg plateau, has put in place a new design approach: co-creation.

Instead of pitting different architectural bureaus against each other, co-creation allows for discussion and knowledge sharing between all involved stakeholders. This enables continuous improvement in architecture, construction, energy and water supply as well as urban planning in general.
